Tenebris was shot as an entry for the 2023 Film Fest Knox Elev8or Pitch competition.  The top eight submissions participated in a screening, live-pitch session, and Q&A with a jury of industry professionals who awarded three top prizes. Tenebris won 3rd place and had a chance to develop the short into a feature film. As of now, the story is still in development.
The Penance of Andy Redding was shot as an entry into the 2019 Knoxville Film Festival’s “Tennessee 10” competition.  Filmmakers had 90 days to make a short film. The Penance of Andy Redding won a number of awards, including 2nd place overall.
Whipstitch was shot as an entry into the Two Week Twister film competition.  Filmmakers had 2 weeks to make a short film with a required line of dialogue and a prop. Our dialogue was “a storm is coming” and the prop was aluminum foil.  Whipstitch won best film, best director and best actor.
Love, Henry was shot as an entry into the 2018 Knoxville Film Festval's “Seven Day Shootout” film competition.  Like the name suggests, filmmakers had 7 days to make a short film with a genre requirement. We had to make a war/love story. Love, Henry won seven awards including best film, best director, best writing, best actress and best actor.
Home was shot as an entry into the 2016 Knoxville Film Festval's “Seven Day Shootout” film competition.  Like the name suggests, filmmakers had 7 days to make a short film with a genre requirement. Ours was a "road movie." Home won best cinematography in this competition.
Terminal, released in 2015, served as a proof-of-concept for a feature idea that could potentially be developed in the near future. 
Gasoline was shot in 2015 for an online film competition. That’s all there is to say about this one.
Dust was entered into the 2014 24 Film Festival. Our good friend Al won best actor for his efforts.
Blindspot was shot as an entry into the 2013 Knoxville Film Festval's “Seven Day Shootout” film competition.  Like the name suggests, filmmakers had 7 days to make a short film with a genre requirement. We had to make a horror-style film. Blindspot took home 3 awards. 
What We Do was our an entry into the 24 Hour Film Festival competition in 2013. What We Do won 3 awards. 
Charley3 was made as an experiment in 2012. Could one person make a film all by themselves? Aside from the “bartender” and the “drinking couple” in the bar scene, this film was made all alone by Kelly Burke.
Confidence was our attempt at making a sort of politcial crime “thriller”. It was shot as part of the 2011 Secret City Film Festival’s “Seven Day Shootout” competition.  Confidence won 2 awards. 
OUT was shot as an entry into the 2011 24 Hour Film Festival. (That’s right - we had 24 hours to make this film and it shows a bit… ;)

We had to make a comedy. Lenny Leibowitz won 7 awards including best editing, best supporting actor and audience favorite. 
Black & White was conceived as a silent black and white film. And that’s what it is. Made in the winter of 2010/11, Knoxville.
